Heart Valve Bank supports Amphan cyclone relief in West Bengal, India!

Cyclone Amphan
The tropical super cyclone Amphan passed through West Bengal in late

May this year causing extensive damage in seven districts, rendering nearly half a million people homeless.

This was the worst super cyclone in 150 years that affected the state coupled with global COVID-19 pandemic, also affecting the area. The worst affected by both these crises are the poor and the migrant workers. The COVID-19 crisis has led to hunger and deprivation.

Heart Valve Bank has supported this urgent cause and has assisted in the rebuilding exercise, particularly in repairing homes affected by this natural disaster and in facilitating restoration of local drinking supplies. Heart Valve Bank continues to support this cause as well as many others during these challenging times.
